Choolwe Lourens

Part II Architectural Assistant

In 2017, Choolwe graduated from St. Andrews University in North Carolina, USA with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual and Performing Arts whilst on a three-year Elite Swimming Scholarship. During this time, she participated in a high-level competitions, qualifying annually for both the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics national competition and the Atlantic Coast Conference national competition

After obtaining her BA, she relocated to the UK to pursue her architectural studies at the University of the West of England where she has earned both her Part I and Part II qualifications. Through her time as a student she has acquired and developed a range of software skills including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUP, and Photoshop.

In her final year of study, her team had won Best Live Studio Project for their work forming a Community Interest Company (CIC) with Ashley Down's park communities in Bristol to take over and develop the city parks in St Pauls, Montpelier, and St Werburghs from Bristol City Council.
