Proposals for a residential development set within a significant and well designed landscape context to the south of the town, will deliver an inclusive mix of much needed new housing.

 

The design proposals seek to conserve existing landscape features and implement them within managed open spaces that will ensure their long term survival.

 

The proposals will open up new areas of high quality, publicly accessible open spaces – including along the Diamond Way, a strategic footpath running through the site.

 

The proposed architectural and urban design approach will draws on local historic precedents for appropriate local character references.
