Having previously worked on West Pond, a residential parcel of the Barry Waterfront redevelopment for 375 new homes, pad subsequently undertook the local centre design to help create a vibrant, attractive heart to the new community.

 

The proposed urban form overlooks a series of hard and soft landscape spaces, with varying storey heights accommodating active uses on the ground floors and residential uses above. A contemporary architectural style has been utilised with render, cladding and a high proportion of glazing.
