A live/work building has been designed to sit within the Green Belt south of Bristol. The long and low new home retains the appearance of a group of separate outbuildings, through variations in roof structures and elevational treatments, which include rubble stone, render and timber.

 

Openings are carefully considered to prevent any overlooking; the majority are north facing, where established and enhanced planting will screen the new home, whilst allowing views into the distant landscape.
