An integrated, sustainable and attractive new neighbourhood of 1200 new homes and a village core, integrated with its parkland setting, is being developed in south Wales.

 

Celebrating the heritage of the area, including the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal and listed buildings, the neighbourhood will comprise five character areas.

 

pad has produced the Development Briefs for the first two of these (Tir Brychiad and the Village Core), which are aimed at creating a distinctive character – an identity that will grow from the site’s context, and its architectural and urban design approach.
