The site offers an opportunity to provide a residential extension for 600 new homes, with ancillary uses including small-scale retail; together with formal and informal open space responding to the distinct character of the site and its context.

The development will utilise the site’s challenging topography and established landscape structure to help to create an interesting and attractive townscape based around a west – east green spine with views across the valleys.

It will help ensure the long-term protection and enhancement of the landscape and biodiversity, including for the Marsh Fritillary butterfly and incorporate sustainable drainage, making use of existing surface features where possible.
